Granada (1982). I studied Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Granada and later I chose the specialty of Urology at the University Hospital San Cecilio where I trained for 5 years.
Since I started my specialty I have been dedicated to the medical and surgical treatment of urinary lithiasis, and I was able to read my doctoral thesis on this subject in 2012. After finishing my specialization period I have been training in minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of lithiasis, urological cancer and benign genitourinary pathology.
Currently I routinely perform endourology procedures to treat lithiasis, laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of urological cancer and endoscopic surgery for prostatic-vesicular pathology. In addition, I have specialized in less invasive techniques such as Rezum and green laser for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. In relation to male sexual pathology, I have specialized in the placement of penile prosthesis for erectile dysfunction that does not respond to other types of treatments. From a diagnostic and medical treatment point of view, I am an expert in urinary lithiasis, as well as in andrology and male sexual problems.
I am convinced that quality urology requires a comprehensive and collaborative approach with other colleagues to contribute the best of each one in order to provide the best care to patients and improve their quality of life.

(Granada) 1969. I studied Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Granada (1987-1993). I completed the specialty of Family and Community Medicine (1996-1999) at the Virgen de las Nieves Hospital in Granada. Subsequently I chose the specialty of Urology at the University Hospital San Cecilio de Granada where I trained for 5 years (1999-2004). After finishing my residency I started my professional activity at the University Hospital of Jaén until 2018. Since then I have been a urologist at the Hospital Universitario Clínico San Cecilio de Granada. Since I started the specialty I dedicated myself to the medical and surgical treatment of oncological pathology (renal cancer, prostate cancer, bladder and testicular cancer), being my doctoral thesis on this subject.
Desde que terminé mi periodo de especialización me he ido formando en técnicas quirúrgicas mínimamente invasivas, laparoscopia, ureteroscopia y técnicas para el tratamiento de la hiperplasia prostática benigna (resección transuretral, láser verde y Rezum). Actualmente realizo de forma habitual procedimientos de endourología para tratar litiasis y cirugía laparoscópica para el tratamiento oncológico y no oncológico de la patología urológica. Además he realizado numerosos cursos sobre patología sexual del varón, disfunción eréctil, enfermedad de Peyronie e infecciones de transmisión sexual. Desde el punto de vista del diagnóstico y tratamiento médico soy experto en el cáncer renal y prostático.
I think that Urology is an exciting specialty with many challenges ahead of us today, the fundamental one being to provide quality care to our patients.
